ABOUT ME

Curious. Hungry. Foolish. On a never ending mission to learn.
I'm adaptable, open-minded, inquisitive and opinionated.
I spent some of my professional life in advertising and high fashion and run my ice cream company (basically I'm just cleaning strawberries all summer). As with lots of couch surfers, vagabonding has been a main theme throughout the years. I love to look for the every day life in adventure and adventure in the every day life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nothing fascinates me more than getting soaked into new and different environments that tug me out of my comfort zone.

Basically I'm looking to turn today's unique experiences into tomorrow's splendid memories.

Interests

My interest is easily sparked by people who are crazy passionate about what they do, but in an attempt not to turn this into a dictionary:
I completely adore anything food related (cooking, but mostly just eating), legendary popsongs form the 60', 70' and 80' rock my day and so do jazzy tunes (if it's loud enough anything could, really), photography gets to me, I'm an avid movie lover, getting active gives me this high that I love (hiking, swimming, horseback riding, yoga, the usual), I enjoy drowning in a good book on a sun flooded terrace until I'm dizzy from either the characters or the UVA/UVB overdose

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? Going on CISV in Finland alone for one month when 11, healing surprisingly well from a skiing accident that broke my upper jaw in 4 pieces, falling out of love, falling in love, smoking cigars in Cuba that came from under the hat of a horseback riding cowboy, keep ordering dessert as a first course, attempting to actually swim in the dead sea (fail), having a bat fly into my face during a midnight safari in South Africa, going sugar free for 30 days, hiking a crater in Hawaii to catch the sunrise, walking through Istanbul until the soles of my shoes fell off, dancing in Berghain, many more to come
