Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A trip through Morocco only by couchsurfing gave me the insight this is a great way to travel, to meet people and become friends, to get to know the country and its culture. We planned nothing ahead, except the CS, our hosts brought us to places/adventures/stories/people we didn't expect..We basically just talked with them the whole trip..

Interests

Real Addiction: veg cooking. I like to discover what to do with special ingredients. I sometimes teach this to people, for a very interesting organisation called EVA vzw.
Facts, If you can learn me something new about history/nature/space/fysics/metaphysics/..I'm all yours.
Animals (except mosquitos). I do have some favorites for some reason, f.ex the Mola Mola, orca and the manatee, and I've been lucky to see the last two in their natural habitat.
(Beach)volley, yoga, running/cycling, bouldering, pingpong, ultimate frisbee.
I'm currently learning to play the piano, so can tell you a lot about Bach at the moment (if you really really would like to know )
Portuguese, in particular the Brazilian slang.
Nature... enjoy it- preserve it. Staying a while in beautiful Patagonia is a dream that came true last month

Sociology. Because I'm fascinated about that social construction called society. Discussing this is something I love.

Seeing an orca from two meters from the shore, ready to attack, while we were standing with only 3 people on a deserted beach full of sea elephants:)
Climbing up to a mountain to see a volcano erupt after sunset from very closeby
