About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Celebrating life!....

ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed character though quite excitable too. I mostly have lots of energy and a big appetite for adventure. I relish a challenge. I love meeting new people, finding out about different ways of living, sharing positive truths and learning from/with each other. I like to help and to bring a smile to peoples faces...this year I have discovered the potential of circus for doing just this..both to my own face and to others...I want to learn more and share more.

PHILOSOPHY

enjoy life and the richness of experiences that it brings. Try and bring light and happiness to all you cross paths with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A wonderful one! I have made some great friends and had amazing adventures through couchsurfing.

Interests

I love to create...food, clothes, jewellery, art, film. I am interested in physical exploration- aerial dance, acro-balance, yoga, hula hoop. Watching all live art forms. I love wild swimming, in the sea, rivers or lakes. travel of course is a huge interest of mine, discovering other cultures and also what unites us all- building bridges all over the world. I like to travel by bicycle.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is diverse: psychedelic rock, dub reggae, jazz, folk electro and plenty more wonderful stuff- depends on the the time of day and my mood- often I can start the day dancing to 80's italo disco!
books my favorite is House of the Spirits by Isabelle Allende, such a wonderfull writter. Am just reading Green Was the Earth on the Seventh day, an autobiography of a Norwegian advernture who abandonds cilivilisation in favour of prehistoric living in a polonesian paradise. Krishanamurti is a recent influence of mine. His book Education and the Significance of life speaks loud truths to me which I would love the education authorities to hear and comprehend!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled through southern china, laos, cambodia and Indonesia. made me who i am today. It gave me huge faith in humanity, adventure, trust, love and non verbal communication, as well as taking me to some of the most breathtaking spots of the planet!

Spent the first half of this year in india with a group of performers. We toured with a children's circus show and taught/ played with children who had had little chance to be children. it was amazing they learnt so many new skills but most importantly...had fun :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Can make/teach a good vegetable lasagne and some hot chilli jam. I have many stories that I am always happy to share and love nothing more than hearing others. I am always very happy to teach and share the circus skills I have- it makes me even more excited to pass on a trick than to learn one myself!
