Overview
About Me
My name is Carlos Barrios, but my friends call me Charly.
I from of Argentina and I'm living in the world.
I am a mechanic technician and an industrial designer. I strongly believe that design is in every aspect of our lives, and that is the area where I expand my creativity. I am curious and I feel a great responsibility when it comes to solve problems and connect ideas.
I also consider that as designers we are cultural operators, because we can make a lot to improve not only products but social change. That is why I enjoy listening to other people's opinions and concerns, and debate them in order to get to better results.
I am deeply interested in learning about new cultures, interact and exchange opinions with different people. I understand that throughout the process of socializing and experience is where you build new background.
During the past months I've been doing volunteering work in different places to learn the language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing for me is the best way not only to know, but also to live the experience of the different cultures of the world that is why I am here
Interests
Automatic and manual machines-tools are my passion, including turn, mill, CNC, router, grinding machine and 3d-printer, among others.
I worked in a metallurgical garage for 4 years, in which I took dozens of blueprints everyday in order to find the best way to carry out the manufacturing operations.
Then I shared my experience by teaching in a school and at the same time I had a personal project with 3d-prints.
I gave classes in a technical school specialized in mechanics for almost 5 years, during which I enjoyed expanding my knowledge. Nevertheless in March 2020 I decided to go forward by knowing new cultures and learning English.
