Hello !
My name is Charles, 27 and from Belgium. I was supposed to stay three months in the Philippines for a voluntary project but it went wrong so I had to decide to change the project into a big trip around Asia !
I'm a friendly person, I love to meet new people and new cultures. Besides that, I really enjoy hiking, listening to music (techno would be my favorite kind but I do listen everything), reading & watching movies and of course have a few drinks with nice people.
Couchsurfing will be a excellent way for me to meet new people and culture and also to travel without spending too much (which I will need since originally I wasn't supposed to travel for 3 months :p).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said in my profile section, I was supposed to stay in the Philippines for three months for a volunteering project but it was actually really not interesting and I was loosing my time there (they just made me wait all day long despite my many attempts to change this situation).
So instead I decided to discover Asia with my three months here ! Couchsurfing will allow me to meet new people and their culture and to travel with a low budget (I hadn't planned so much money since I was in a host family in the Philippines).
