I'm Charly, just turned 20 but had already an awesome year in Canada and the USA.
Last year in May I passed my exams in high school and decided to travel Canada with my best friend Sanna. We did two exciting jobs, one as housekeepers at a really nice Lodge at Moraine Lake the most beautiful Lake I've ever seen! During the winter we did a ticket checking job at a Ski Resort in Fernie, a really nice place to go on adventurous ski or snowboard trips.
For two months we left Canada and did an amazing road trip down and up the west coast of the States. I saw cool cities, hiked beautiful National Parks and met many nice people with different stories to tell i'll never forget.

I love adventures and like meeting people from all over the world to listen to their stories they want to tell. It's always an enrichment for my own life.
In my opinion you never stop learning. Everyday is new day to expand your knowledge. I don't really mean knowledge in a special class in university. More in how to get along with different situations in life, with different people, with your own wishes and dreams. Everyday is another step to come closer to the feeling of fulfilling your life - one thing I've learned during the last year - even if you sometimes have the feeling of failing or of going steps back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a very good and easy way to travel around without any complications. I used to do it a lot when I traveld around Canada and the States and I met fantastic people. I never had any bad experiences with it.

Interests

I would love to travel around the whole world. But even sitting in the train, the bus or the car to drive to another city in Germany gives me the feeling of excitement and coming out of my daily life in my hometown.
After my trip to Canada nobody can take away my excitement for hiking and snowboarding anymore. Unforgettable feelings I definitely have to feel again pretty soon.
Meeting different people means learning about new cultures.
I love it to listen to music. The beat lets me moving! That's why I love dancing, exspecially HipHop and Salsa. Doesn't matter in which mood I was, after dancing everything is forgotten.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole trip through Canada and the States was amazing but the most amazing thing for myself is the decision i made after. I've learned to try it always with your dreams and wishes at first, everything else comes after.
Now I'm not studying like my plan was before. Now I'm following my wish of doing something with my dream about dancing.
