I am a friendly, sociable and naturally curious person. I like to discover or learn new things, listen to people s stories and so on. I was born in Italy and grown up there but after 21 I started to travel quite a lot and lived and worked in many places. Last years I spent a lot of time (4 years) in China discovering this great, complicated and bubbling country and moved last year to Japan to start a new adventure. I worked for a while at the Chamber of Commerce but I recently felt I wanted to go on a discovery trip to find new ideas and give a different direction to my life. I will hang the tie on the wall for now and put back on my travel shoes. Meet you soon!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing long ago before Airbnb and others became popular. I haven't used it for a while but I am thinking to go back on the road to walk new places and I think this is the best way to meet new people.

兴趣

Guys I really enjoy what I call social jamming which is meeting up with friends and new peopla to play/jam together and have a good time, then if you add something to drink, to eat and a nice place where to stay you have the perfect combination!

音乐、电影和书籍

Well well well, there would be just so much to say. As for music I am a great listener of many kinds. Having played classical and jazz piano for many years of course I like both classical and jazz music. I am a big gan of Satie, Vivaldi, and Liszt. The I have a rock side of my soul (actually played electric guitar in a band for a while too). My favorites in this field are Guns and Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers. But I really do listen to many other kinds, pop, rap, latin (I enjoy dancing salsa and bachata once in a while...).

I recently read some Murakami books (3), probably the one I found most interesting is 1Q84. I like the way he develops the narration.

I love watching movies. I am not a big fan of action and guns I have to admit but like stories, romances, adventure, some big hits why not (like the Pirates) and old movies. Of course I have a preference for Italian cinema but I discovered many great movies from other directors around the world. For instance I really like Wong Kar-Wai.

Quit everything for love and finding myself in big troubles after hahaha. I am also often hungry for adventures and like to throw myself into crazy trips even alone.

Traveling so much I am of course passionate about cultures, history and languages and I am happy to meet anyone interesting in speaking/learning European languages. At the moment though I am more looking forward to speaking Chinese and Japanese which I already handle at let's say a conversational level.

However I am a social person so I would be happy even to just hang out for a drink and discuss any topic.
