CURRENT MISSION

Well, that's hard... at the moment it's probably "visit as many countries as I can", but I guess I'll also have to figure out what I want to do with my life soon... :P

ABOUT ME

I'm not so good at describing myself... I guess I'm friendly, easygoing, reliable, rather quiet (most of the time at least).
I didn't go to university, I quit studying after I graduated from high school.
I've lived abroad for 2 years, first in Ireland then in Finland, as an au-pair girl. That was such a great experience!
I love reading, listening to music, doing outdoor activities and sports (free climbing, bouldering, tennis, skating, cycling).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did an interrail with a friend a couple of yers ago, and I couchsurfed for the first time during those 2 weeks.
It was an absolutely lovely experience, we were hosted in Paris, in the Nederlands and in Germany by a lot of nice and fun people.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to host anyone yet 'cause I'm still living with my parents. But I'm planning to move out really soon, and as soon as I get my own house I'll be ready to return the favour to those who hosted me, and just to welcome any traveller who needs a place where to sleep for a few days.

Well, here the list would be definetely too long...
I like comedies and animation movies (like Ratatouille, Wall-E, Shrek, Shawn of the dead, kiss kiss bang bang), and other kind of movies, such as "the Darjeeling limited"; "A clockwork orange"; "Into the wild"; "V for vendetta"; "fear and loathing in Las Vegas" etc.
I love to read, and I like to have a book around all the time, even if it's just to know I can read if I feel like it... some great books I've read are "The tin drum" by Gunter Grass, "1984" and "animal farm" by George Orwell, "Paula" by Isabel Allende, "Wasted" by "Marya Hornbacher", "l'élégance du herisson" by Muriel Barbery, "A prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving.
As for the music, I like rock, punk, alternative.

Not as many as I'd like... :)
I've seen amazing places in Ireland during my year there.. maybe the most beautiful place I've been to was the Cliffs of Moher.
And then of course the magic of finnish winter (unfortunately I did'n get to see the northern lights.. that was disappointing).
