About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm Australian and currently living in Vancouver. I grew up in the country on a farm then moved to Adelaide where I studying and worked for abour 6 years. I left Australia in February 2009 and traveled to the Philippines, London, Frankfurt, Munich and ended up in lovely Vancouver. I work here and spend as much of my spare time seeing more of Canada.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still trying to figure this out. I just take it day by day!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined up a coupleof years back- not just to stay on someone's couch, but to get a taste of 'living locally'- and when I get back to Australia, my couch, my floor and my spare bed is all up for grabs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
AMAZING! I had the most amazing hospitality in Germany. Without couch surfing, I don't think I would've had as much fun or met as many people.
In Vancouver, I've met more couch surfers and introduced friends to couch surfing... Picnics by the beach playing a good game of frisbee is always a favourite.
Interests
I love music, playing frisbee, hiking, walking, camping, social drinks, sushi, snowboarding, talking, animals and hot weather.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music. I'll listen to anything...and i love being introduced to new music. Don't ask me specifically what I like because i'll have a million answers and could go on forever.
My favourite book is 'He died with a falaffel in his hands'. Two reasons: 1. 'falaffel' is my favourite work. 2. this book is hilarious.
Movies... anything light hearted. I'm not big on details, or thinking a lot when I should be relaxing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wine tasting in the Oakanagan, BC, Grand Canyon Road trip in a day, camping/fishing on the beach in South Australia, The Canadian Rockies, Snowboarding at Mt Baker and Whistler... I really need to work on this list.
My highest high was being interviewed by Good Morning America in LA after 2 hours sleep, a 6 hour bus trip, I smelt of alcohol... and I paid out Heidi from The Hills. That's pretty amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm more of a 'learner and sharer' than a teacher. Maybe I can teach, but i don't have a huge pool of knowledge locked away. Otherwise, I'll share whatever i have, and try and scrape your brain so I can get as much out of it as possible. I plan on returning from my holiday with as much knowledge on everything as possible.
