Got passport - ready to travel! Been travelling a little bit, now want to experience more than just being a tourist, want to get to know new cultures - the real deal!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the goodness of people- that we all are connected somehow, all cells of the same body. I am curious as to meeting other souls that are on this journey with me, exchange a little - listen to their story, share some and then wander further...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't want to simply provide a bed if you just need a free place to stay, get an Airbnb. I want to share experiences, stories and meals. I can also advise on what else to do in our area and country as I work in the tourism industry. If you want to go diving with the great white sharks -I am the one to speak to! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to the concept in Budapest and were absolutely fascinated by this. Of course, I had to explore! Since then had most beautiful experiences, met amazing people that became life friends! Whether we share a short story or a novel, I am looking forward to it.

I believe there is magic in every moment if you look for it. I am fortunate to have experienced a lot, from game viewing at night, shark cage diving, bungee jumping, but having walked up Table Mountain was one of my most awesome moments! Swimming in the ocean with a hot spring flowing into it at Ischia, Italy, riding on the back of a motorbike without a helmet in India.Kayaking in a glacier in Alaska! Sleeping in a tent in Yosemite National Park. Drinking coffee in the old town Jeddah with the locals. Swimming with whale sharks, Shakespeare in the Park concerts in german, I treasure all my travel moments.

Each of us come to earth with a few pieces of a jigsaw puzzle as big as the universe. Each time we meet someone, we unconsciously show them our pieces to see if they have pieces that will fit ours. If they don't. they go their way, and sometimes we find a fit...it's an adventure finding all the little pieces that go into my puzzle!
