About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a 27 year old Montrealer who joined couch surfing while on exchange in Mazatlan Mexico. I am fluent in English and French and although I am pretty good at understanding, I have only recently begun to speak Spanish.
I haven"t done too much traveling but the places I've have been amazing and for the most part the people I've met have been great. The list of places I want to go is way too long to be plausible, and I definitely want to spend some time working in another country.
No matter where I go, my heart belongs to Montreal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My old roommate who has a lot of CS experience introduced me to CS, and since we had a lot of space convinced me to give it a shot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my roommate and I have hosted a few ppl, I have yet to surf myself. We have had some interesting experiences that could not have happened without the surfers lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a solar powered pepsi machine in the middle of a beautiful secluded natural park in Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

Is it faster to fly? of course. Is it the same experience? Not nearly.
I took a greyhound bus alone from Montreal to Austin Texas and back twice (48-52 hours each way). The first time I entered the US through buffalo NY and stayed pretty central. The second time I came down the east coast. I saw the landscape change from flat fields to rolling hills to deep marshes. The conversations I've had with someone on a plane about where they are going or how their climate compares to mine cannot compare to the things I was able to learn about a person in a day. It really is easier to confess things to a stranger, and as cheezy as it sounds I met people who made me laugh and cry, and who ultimately changed my life. Alot of people told me I lost two days in each direction to traveling. What they dont know is, I gained two days in other peoples lives, and it was more than worth it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, Trinidad and Tobago, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
