ABOUT ME

I'm from a small town in the state of Virginia, I adore the mountains. I love meeting new people, I'm a hugger (there are very few things in this word that can top a hug from someone you just met), and there's not many things I enjoy more than good music, good coffee, good scenery, and deep conversation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My whole life my mother has taken in people whether it was hitch hikers, drunks, trail hikes, or random strangers she met at the supermarket . . .it probably wasn't a great think that she did these with three children around but I feel its not job to continue her openness. I think its that so called "southern hospitality."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couchsurfing has occurred in while in Africa. There is nothing better than going to a strange place and having someone there with open arms and advice.

Intereses

I spend most of my time surrounded by people whether they are my friends or students. I love music, being outside and having a great adventure.

I could write pages and pages about these topics. I love MUSIC, how it sounds, the poetic lyrics, melodies, and unbelievable beats. My favorite music is typically associated with my background: folk, bluegrass, and old time. Though if I can dance to it . . . I love it.

In my traveling experience and childhood I've learned to never go anywhere without a good book so I have a huge list. The Giver, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Catch-22, East of Eden, Devil in the White City, World War Z, Harry Potter
