About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discovering & appreciating the magical beauty of life - day by day...! :o)
ABOUT ME
Huuuuuiiii, that´s always such a hard question to answer. Who am I? Well, at first sight I am probably an average central-euopean girl, growing up in an average middle-class family. Mum and Dad still being married, me being their only child...
But then again I have somehow felt "different" all my life and have been trying to break out from the "average way of life" in quite a few ways. I would say I haven´t really found myself so far (and I´m not too sure if I ever wanna be able to say: "This is it, that´s how I am.") but I keep discovering myself and the world in all its varity. And I guess that´s also the reason why I feel most at home and most like being myself when traveling...
PHILOSOPHY
"There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way." (Buddha)
I love this quote and I try to live up to it every single day - with varying success, to be honest ;o). But I´m aware that we ourselves are ALWAYS the creators of our own happiness and our perception of life in general. So I try to take the responsibility for my moods and feelings and if I catch myself having negative thoughts or attitudes I try to change them.
And traveling so far was one of my best teachers in showing me that happiness is not so much connected to outer conditions but rather to our inner attitudes.
There is beauty and magic all around us, we just have to open our hearts and our minds and we´ll be part of it! :o)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I only got in touch with couchsurfing by meeting some truely amazing and wonderful people, that were hosted by friends of mine. But these experiences are sufficient to say that couchsurfing seems to me like a great concept and a mutual enrichment! :o)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: puuuuh, there´s so much I like: Latin-Music, Reggae, African Music, electronic Chill-Out-Music, the Classics from the 60s and 70s, Balkan-style-music, Goa for going out, soft music for meditating,... almost everything, besides Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Punk... ;o)
BOOKS: ok, this is simply impossible, there are just faaaar to many books being worth listed here. But in general I prefer literature that gives me some philosophical impulse...
MOVIES: I´m really bad with that. Eighter I fall asleep or I forget what the movie was about within a ridiculously short time... still I like watching them. :o)
Teach, Learn, Share
I think there is sooo much we can all learn from each other, and there is definetly soooooooooo much I wanna learn in this life - it´s impossible to list it all.
But to make a start:
I would love to learn more about self-sustainable living, how to grow your own veggies and herbs, how to build a simple hut, how to form a (widely) independent community...
And I would for example love to share my creative skills with others.
