ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm currently living in Berlin, Germany. Studied for the Wintersemester at TU Berlin in 2009. I worked for a Bike Tour Company for one year and now I am working in a Bar & Hostel. I´m more of a night person :)

PHILOSOPHY

Mmmm, well i love to experience new and exciting things - and I tend to find a lot of this when I travel. I love a challenge, and am always willing to give something a go.

I am happy to host people here in Berlin and of course in Australia when I return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My most favourite CS experience was in Marrokko so far - I met a particularly lovely CS host, Ali, who traveled around Marrokko with us and introduced us to many of his friends. I went there by myself and couldn´t recommend Marrokko more highly. Great people, interesting culture and hot, hot weather :)

Interessen

Music, dancing, traveling to places I haven't been before, art, photography, interesting people. I am yet to really hitchhike, I would like to do this!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music - the list is neverending! I listen to a lot of dance music, techno and electronic. I don´t really have a genre that I prefer as such - I like a bit of everything.
Books....I tend to read books more when I am traveling. Usually crime novels or biographies. Not really into the lovesick ones.
Movies...love Girl Interrupted, anything directed by Quentin Tarentino (Snatch, Lock Stock & 2 Smokin Barrels, Kill Bill), love the movie The Big Lebowski. I love documentaries as well.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I love challenging myself physically...I climbed to the top of Mount Skåla (1,848 metres above sea level!!) in Norway 2 years ago. I did a 111km rowing race through the Hawskbury River (Australia) for 19 hours straight! Killer!
I also skydived, scuba dived, snorkelled and bungy jumped. All amazing, but next will be competing in a bike race. I´m in the process of building my first Rennrad :S.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love to share where I have traveled, and enjoy telling people about my experiences. Every where I go I learn something new, so I am hoping to learn something from people I couchsurf at too.
