I honestly listen to everything from country to classical to rap, but I must say RnB is my go to genre. Though, I am a huge fan of 60's rock and jazz. My favorite artist are Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan. For books, I'm a huge Robert Greene fan, but my favorite book would be "the alchemist'" by Paulo Coelho.
