Overview
About Me
I'm currently a student at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. I enjoy snowboarding, drumming, and going on adventures. I'm always open to learning about new cultures and try to immerse myself as much as possible. I'm not too messy, loud, or some other third thing that would make me a bad guest. One of my favorite things about traveling is tasting new foods, bonus points if its spicy. Send me a message if you would like to host or be hosted by me and make a great new friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love going on adventures and traveling around, so what better way to do it than by staying with like minded people and giving others a place to stay as well. I think Couchsurfing is an incredible way for travellers to help each other out not only with a place to sleep, but also sharing culture you could never get from a hotel room. In the past I have found friends just on the streets in foreign coutries, for better or worse, so I think Couchsurfing also helps eliminate some of the risks of trying to find trustworthy strangers on the streets.
Interests
I always find myself getting in over my head and its really helped me to grow as a person. Many times I have showed up in a country with no plans and have made friends along the way who introduce me to new things. I love learning and trying new things so if that counts as an interest, that.
After surfing and snowboarding of course

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of most music, but my favorites are rap and reggae. Really anything is nice though, I have no conplaints about music
As for movies, I love watching movies in foreign languages. Its a cool way to get a glimpse into a different culture, listen to the language, etc.
I am usually a fan of any book I read, but my favorites would be "1984", "Good Earth", "A Thousand Splendid Suns", and "The Road" to name a few
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is travelling around Asia for 1 year by myself. I went to about 10 different countries and made a great deal of friends. It definitely wasn't easy but it was worth every moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
I worked as an English teacher for a little while and it's my native language, so I can help you improve your vocabulary, reading, grammar, etc. if you would like
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't have much to share, but I can provide good company, help with any chores, and I like to think I'm a pretty decent cook
