CURRENT MISSION
Be Professional Explorer
ABOUT ME
I'm a fun loving, easy going, and curious guy who spent 10 years as a software designer. I'm no pursuing a career as an adventure and travel writer. I've been a ski instructor, raft guide, worked construction, and written for the local newspaper in the last 5 years. I value freedom, deep connection, trying new things, and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Improvise, adapt, overcome. Lead with kindness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most enriching part of traveling is getting in touch with the real community of a place, the people who call it home. To see how they live, where they eat, how they enjoy their home usually leads to the best experiences.
Interests
I love being outdoors. Backpacking, mountaineering, skiing, hiking to beautiful secluded lakes to dive off of big rocks. I love finding and creating adventures in my life. Traveling the world and meeting strangers.
I also enjoy writing, reading a good book, or discussing personal philosophies, alien propulsion methods, or ways to improve the world or ourselves.
