I am 19 and a local Photographer from Columbus Ohio, I am an adventurer and plan to see the 7 corners of the world and back via backpack within the next 7 years; Doing one trip a year during the summer each year. This is possible and you can do it too.

I am I.
Hello! My name is Chase Maxwell Robinette.
I am an eccentric concoction of creativity spliced with insanity that your eyes have never beheld.
My eyes opened for the first time on November 2nd 1993, ever since then I have been trying to see the world for all that it is, in it's pure form and truest light. As a son of an artist, inventor, videographer, and entrepreneur, I was raised in a home of art where the idea of expressing yourself was the best thing we were told we could do; I did just that.
I am an outgoing Adventurer and professional photographer based out of Columbus, Ohio. I have been waiting 19 long years to be free of worldly obligations such as school, money and age limitations. Finally after years of school and months of saving I'm standing in the threshold of the rest of life. Please feel free to join my adventure and become part of it as we become friends to help each other grow, experience new cultures, and most of all, see this beautiful world like it was meant to see; with nothing but a small pack and the lust for adventure.
I am a free spirit and plan to fly with the wind and let it carry me like a seed to my final destination. Life is the ride there.

I am an artist.
I live to create.
Every second of every day that I am free of thought I am driven to create; to give birth to beautiful emotion expressed though whatever medium my heart feels is the best choice.
Though at the moment my most intense passion is mine for photography and writing, I absolutely will one day work with every medium my hands can conquer, glass, marble, iron, scrap metal, fabrics and clothing, quilting, watercolors, pastels, chalk, charcoal, wood carving, graphic design, frame making, printing, and anything else that falls along my path.
I thirst for knowledge. I crave it. Like pouring a gallon of water into a pond, I want to absorb as much as i physically can hold, and even dare to break those bounds as well. I enjoy the sound of silence and the beauty of thought and the aw-inspiring world hidden in plain sight.
I don't mind being my own company, It give's me time to analyze who am I, and what it is that makes me happy.
Isn't that what life is all about? To be happy? I try to focus on this every day. Asking myself these truly profound questions without answers in hopes that one day maybe we will know the purpose of life or why we are here and what is beyond this.

My Mission: My mission is to see, capture, share, spread love, unite, grow, and live the best that I can.
See; To see the world in the truest, most pure unadulterated form, as close to how it was thousands of years ago before the stain of mans sin vilely consumed the most extraordinary thing to have ever exist, life.
Capture; I want not only to see but to capture the true clarity of nature, life, and everything in between.
Share; I want to help those who aren't able to see these things possible, giving all that I have to give; hopefully showing others the path to love.
Spread love; I Love everything and everyone, seeing it for the true beauty that it is. Feel the life force, the connection that binds all matter; be one with it. Feel the bond; be the web.
Unite; I want to unite all under the name of Peace.; through equality, everyone conjoins in a single effort to better the world.
Grow; I want to become and constantly transform into the best person I can be; for myself and no one else.
Live; Live every day like it is my last, seizing and cherishing every second.

Inspiration and Drive;
I am most creative when I am with others. Something about the act of human interaction is so engaging, it puts me on another level; my true colors shine their brightest, not only one color but a infinite spectral rainbow of hues and shades, light shining gracefully through millions of tiny water droplets that act as prisms in earths atmosphere, projecting light in every direction,.
I am most inspired by life itself, but even more so; beauty.
Plan:
I will be departing on my 3 month adventure starting in Dublin Ireland, spending the first month there, north Ireland, wales, Scotland and England. The second month I will ride the Euro star across the English Channel into France, then pass into Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, and France. The final month of my conquest of self discovery I will be walking across the northern part of Spain from France to Santiago on a pilgrimage people from all races and religions have walked for over 2000 years. From Santiago I will take a bus to Madrid and fly home. I would be honored to become your friend and the day is getting near, I am traveling alone and want to couch surf about a month of my trip, so come on guys lets spread the love and make it happen! :) if you have any questions send me a message!

Goals:
I am a realistic dreamer.
I am OCD. My life is neatly dictated by a series of lists and documents that I have comprised containing a place for everything, I view my OCD as one of my greatest gifts as well as tools that gives me the ability to see things in a different perspective, and undeniable organizational skills, as well as a keen eye and attention to detail.
I want to maximize and utilize every second of every day.
I want to live for myself.
I want to be happy.
I want to live serenely.
I want to make my dreams reality.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy;
Be Happy; What else really matters?
What is more important than being happy? It's almost the point of living isn't it? A life without happiness would be terrible. The more time you spend consciously focusing on improving yourself and being happy, the more positive and outstanding life you will have in which you have complete control.
Don't Fear Change; Be the change you wish to see in the world.
Don't fear the possibly to make a radical change in your life to seek true happiness, it could be the best thing you ever did, the event that changed everything for the better.
Questions are the Answer; Answers Lead to Wisdom; Wisdom is Power:philosophy is the art of asking the right questions.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Questions are simply windows to knowledge. Answers are easy. They are finite and definite; as to questions, which can not be conjured without a very specific thought. Questions are the lock to the knowledge of existence, in to which the thought of which is the key. If you could somehow have enough time to write down every question that could ever be asked, and many billions are there are, and type them in Google and process, analyze, and expand each and every one of them, then in theory would you be the wisest man alive? Does knowing the most make you the most knowledgeable? it doesn't really matter though because that isn't possible. so what does matter? Every second. Every spare moment in time in which you aren't doing something you can be creating, growing, living. if you can think of the right questions to ask, and find just the right one,.. you have the ability to know anything. Power like knowledge like power is always in the palm of your hands. The power to do good; the power to do bad, the power to steal, the power to kill, the power to give, the power to love, the power to create, the power to grow,. this power is yours and is freedom. to give this away is detrimental, but you are given the choice. The choice is your is any and every given situation and the more you comprehend that the more you will feel its presence. make good choices and you will be rewarded,. life; is like a cycle, you get out of it what you put in. You do good simply for the sake of doing good, and my friend, good will become your friend. Likewise, if you let the negative choices manage your life then you will inevitably be consumed with its grasp. You reap what you so, beware of the seeds you plant.
Dream as if you'll live forever, Dream as if you'd die today;
If you find yourself saying "Oh, I'll do that tomorrow" and usually don't end up getting around to it, then ponder this;
What is today but yesterday's tomorrow?
The statement is saying that today is our future. Yesterday we thought tomorrow was the future....but now our future is today. In essence, it's saying we need to make the most of today because today, right now is impacting our future. Live your life!

How I participate:
Though I just stumbled upon this inspiring and potentially life changing tool, I already have complete faith in it's possibilities. With the existence of true community and the collaboration of all the gifts that one each other are given, the possibilities for beauty are endless. I would love to meet you, whoever is reading this right now, I want to experience life with you, friend. I will be doing a lot of day tripping and city hopping through out my trip but if you are available off work the day of my couchsurf I would love for you to show me your town and the most beautiful things it has to offer. I want you to be more than a host for a piece of furniture, rather a friend for years to come. Together; we could do something you've always dreamed of but never had the time for,. do it. you can make it happen if you believe in yourself.

If you like the outdoors and have equipment or a van I would LOVE to simply go out to the most beautiful nation park in your area and sleep under neath the stars. I would more than willingly though in money for gas or take shifts driving. I can not express the static excitement I have for the months soon to come, knowing this is the only the beginning of the rest of my life.

Thoughts:
My mind is a rampant and overgrowing garden of spontaneous and un-quantifiable thought.
My mind spins a thousand miles per hour. I always seem as if I am struggling to get that is inside of my mind, out of my mouth, or on to a piece of paper. I get the feeling of my fear my hand will not move fast enough and I will loose an original in that frantic moment; and this to me is terrifying.

Interests:
Spread among my bottomless list, my interests include writing poetry and stories, photography, video, music, writing songs, playing guitar, hiking, exploring, backpacking, getting lost on purpose, painting, drawling, crafting, guns, knives, airsoft, tobacco, fashion, tattoos, candles, mountains, forests, nature, biking, netflix, boxing, football, running, skating, bars, parties, and a million other things.

Music: I love all music as it is one of my most intense passions. Music is so magical if you really think about it.. Something as simple as a series of sound waves invisibly bounding around us at all time, can have such a profound effect as to evoke specific emotion; of which could possibly alter ones life. Music can make you happy, it can make you sad. Music can unlock and open an untapped energy within you that you don't even know was there.
My favorite type of music is independent alternative music with emotion, meaning, rhythm, talent, and groove.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I've done:
Amazing is a pretty objective word, but the profound experience I often ponder is that of which I was struck by lighting 6 years ago. The story can only be spoken, only human interaction does it justice. At that moment I had the revolution of the value of time and fragility of life. I Have been many places and seen many scenes in which even videos and photos cannot capture the essence of life that was contained within them.
I could talk for hours telling story and adventurous that I've collected though the years in my journal if you're willing to listen.
I have been called a loner, but I just think of myself as a falcon surrounded by deer, other wildlife, but no other falcons; not even any other large birds.. The small one's are too afraid of my glinting beak and razor clenched talons; I a fly, but as you do so, you fly high. I see the corners of the earth in search for the answer to why your egg was left without a mother, and is the point of your whole life simply to die? You see the Arctic ocean and the Icy tundras of the north pole, the pyramids of Egypt, the clouds hovering over the hymilias, soaring over Australia, Tasmania, ew Zeland, Madagascar, Africa, Brazil, chilli, Mexico, Alaska, Russia, Sweden, Iceland, and everywhere in between. When I returns from it's journey after many long years it returns home; with soar wings and glossy eyes, the animals he grew up with with saw the sparkle in his eye from high up in the clouds, he had figured it out,. he understood. He was content with his life and what he achieved, knowing it was all done for himself and no one else. He then, that very day found a nest on a cliff of the California coast with a mother falcon just like him and a large speckled egg but no father to be seen. He knew his place and filled the spot with happiness until he transcended many years later into what he was so prepared to happen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I will teach you anything I know in the best way I know how, all you have to do is ask. I could talk for hours about the dynamics of photography and lighting between both film and digital DSLRs, I could discuss life questions and Philosophy, culture, government, religion, space, nature, I lot at least a little, about a WHOLE lot; a life time of learning really does add up to a lot of information.

Learn: I strive to learn every free second of every day, always growing and bettering myself. I know you can contribute to this even if you don't yourself. I want to know everything you can tell me, whatever you choose for that to be.

Share: Every moment I capture and activity will be shared with the world through social media and so on. I would love to share my experiences with you as we cross off things off our bucket list.
I think the biggest think I have to share is compassion and love; An ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, no matter who you are, what you've done, where you've been, I can be there for you, even if it's just someone to listen.
