Overview
About Me
I'm a chill person that loves to find adventure, whether it's through friends, travelling, or the Internet. Having lived with my mother, who's both a super shopper and a hoarder, I like to live a simple life filled with laughter, company, and amazing food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore new places and meet new people. Travelling means nothing if I don't interact with the people, the local culture, and especially, the food.
Interests
I used to be more of an indoor person, but I'm gradually exploring what the world offers me beyond my home. With that being said, I'll take any chance to go scuba diving with a group of friends, rock climbing in the sun and shade, and would love the chance to go canoeing while camping for the first time. Apparently, I've been in love with the water ever since I was a kid.
Other than that, I like food and culture. Whenever I go to a new country, I try to go to the local bazaar and pig out. That always makes my stay worthwhile. I also like to learn about oriental medicine and practice massages on my friends.
More importantly, I love listening to people talk and tell me their stories. People from different walks of life always have something juicy to tell!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, it's a random assortment: Apocalyptica is a metal cello band; Muse never fails me for rock; can't resist classic Britney Spears, NSYNC, or Backstreet Boys; Florence + the Machine and Laura Mvula both relax me; can't help humming along to the classic Chinese ballad "The Moon Represents My Heart"; that sexy Jessica Rabbit song; and more that I can't think of right now. Really, it depends on my mood.
I have a special place in my heart for movies. My all-time favorite is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"
And as for books, I need to read more out of my comfort zone. As of now, I tend to lean toward the fantasy or mythology genre. My top picks are Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials series, Harry Potter (I'm sure y'all are tired of hearing that), and Homer's Odyssey.
