ABOUT ME

I live in Bratsberg, 14 kms south of Trondheim, together with my younger sister, 2 wonderful cats and a dog (whippet). The area is great if you want to go hiking!

I can be a bit shy at first, but when I get to know you a bit I'm chatty and outgoing. I enjoy meeting new people, and to be able to share thoughts, experiences, ideas and memories.

I like to hang out with my friends, but I also enjoy staying home, reading a good book, watching TV-series or doing different creative stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a lot of great people the last years, and I would love to travel more myself in the future.
Couch surfing has made me more outgoing and talkative, and it has also improved my english skills. And meeting people from foreign countries has given me new perspectives and knowledge. I'm really thankful!

Interests

Cats, movies, books, history, music, vintage stuff, 50s era, animal welfare, geocaching, cooking, hiking, writing, knitting, sewing and roller derby.

I really enjoy long conversations and discussions over a cup of coffee, tea, beer or a glass of wine.

BOOKS: I read almost everything. Crime fiction, fantasy, historical novels, poetry, plays, non-fiction + +

MUSIC: I listen to different types of metal, rock 'n roll, classics, soundtracks and musicals. And a bit of country and pop music. All depending on my mood.

MOVIES: Braveheart, Walk the Line, Moulin Rouge, Pan's Labyrinth, Quentin Tarantino's movies, Tim Burton's movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, LotR, The Hobbit...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I have participated in an outdoor play 12 years in a row, in front of up to 5,000 spectators at each performance.
- I have seen the beautiful aurora borealis a few times.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share a bit of norwegian brown cheese (brunost). ;)
I also can share my time and my knowledge about the town in the afternoons.
Maybe you can teach me a bit more french, s'il vous plaît? Or italian, per favore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always bring some norwegian chocolate or a little souvenir for my hosts! ;)
