ABOUT ME

I do neuroscience research in Belgium (i.e. I take pictures of your brain while you look at stuff). Originally, I come from Winnipeg, Canada.

The travel bug did not bite until fairly recently. In the past when I travelled it was mostly related to conferences/work.

As a sojourner. Where? I have some aspirations!!

Unfortunately I do not have a couch at this point that I can offer to people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in Savannah, Georgia, USA and Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with hosts. I stayed with a host in Copenhagen, Denmark, and met up with people in Paris, France.

I don't know...kayaked on both coasts of Canada? Watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate?

I have seen the northern lights at least 50 times. And every time they are still just as amazing.

I am pretty much happy to have a philosophical conversation at a drop of a hat. Anytime, anywhere, anyone. For the most part. More so if there is booze involved.

I also love to talk politics (local and global), and learn from other people about their home and culture.

Also: I love my country. It makes my heart sing. So, I can teach you a lot about Canada as well! ;)
