About Me
Hey/Hola/Oi
My name is Chauncie. I am from Pennsylvania/Florida in the U.S. I currently live in London pursuing a one-year Masters. The time commitment is intense, but I recently reminded myself how cool it is to meet people on CS, so I hope to make some time to grab a coffee or drink.
I’m quite a laid back person, and am always up for chats to learn about new cultures and ways of thinking.
For fun, I do museums/exhibitions, cultural tours, attending lectures, yoga, hiking and other fitness activities depending on where I am. I equally enjoy walking around a city center and people watching as I take pleasure in a pristine hike. Also, nights in documentary-watching and binging guilty pleasure shows.
While traveling is one of my great loves, studying urban development has made me comfortably cynical to tourism. I’m still trying to address that for how I live my life, but I think through CS people can travel less traditionally.
My masters is in addressing urban inequalities in processes of development, and bachelors was environmental science.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had some great experiences on CS over the years. While I haven’t had the space to host much, someday when I set my roots I hope to start. In the meantime, I’d just like to keep meeting new people and continuing the exchanges.
