ABOUT ME

I work in a pharmacology lab studying addiction and I brew beer for a local microbrewery in Seattle, which in put me through college. I'm studied Psychology with an emphasis on Drugs and Behavior/Chemical Dependency. Currently I cannot travel but have had some amazing experiences hosting people.

PHILOSOPHY

Let it Be...Let it Be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am unable to begin my travels until 10/13/12 so all I am able to do is offer a couch in hope for a returned favor in a few years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a young couple in Birch Bay, WA for 3 months, other than that only hosting. But I have stayed on my own couch in many different cities and states across this country. What can I say, it's the gypsy in me, gotta keep moving

Music, Movies, and Books

Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda--book, my favorite. Music: Folk rock, Jam Bands, Regge, Funk...well pretty much anything except for Death metal and other hate music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

depends on your reference point. in mine the most amazing was watching the eclipse of 1999 happen at Red Rocks, Nat'l park, Colorado

Teach, Learn, Share

I think food is one of the best ways to focus understanding. I have yet to find a culture that does not find enjoyment and friendship around a dinner table (or breakfast or lunch table for that matter). I once had a teacher that on the last day of the quarter pulled me aside and said that the one thing he wished he knew before being released into this great wild world is that you can win any war with friendship and a smile. (But in case those actually fail never underestimate the power of good food and good beer!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, United States
