Music, Movies, and Books

Forrest Gump, Blow, Dead Man on Campus. All music, every kind, especially jazz, hip hop, reggae, and classic rock. Anything by Jack Kerouac & Richard Russo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently visited Grand Teton National Park, Zion NP, Arches NP, and Canyonlands NP. Utah is one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. In 2003, I climbed Mt. Washington in NH with about 30 people - that was the best three days of my entire life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've done AmeriCorps, climbed Mt. Washington in NH, built houses with Habitat for Humanity, worked for the government, driven across the country, twice, camped with people I had never met and considered them family, counseled youth, and been to Italy, France, Ireland and Canada. I love to cook, read, try new foods/wines/beers, travel to new places, camp, kayak, canoe, cook over fires, and have a great time with others who like to do the same.

Things I'm really passionate about include teaching/spreading the word about how to live a low impact life, talking to people from other countries and other cultures, and helping others any way I can.
