Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to make the world a little smaller by finding the interests I have in common with others, share my experiences, and enjoy our differences rather than fear them
ABOUT ME
I love to laugh and make others laugh. I love the water and love to be in the water, but prefer the mountains to the beach. I love my wife, Kare, and my dog, Leo, and travel most everywhere with them. I love to find out how things work (and people too!). I hope to leave this earth having given more than I took (and feel I still have a long way to go!)
PHILOSOPHY
Every effect has a cause, and vice versa. If you don't like something find out what caused it and see what YOU can do to change it (even if it means changing yourself). Evolution is not cold, dead science, it happens in us, around us, and through us all of the time. I want to cause benevolent evolution.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel a lot already because of making jewelry with my wife and our friends. I find myself in a different city every weekend for 8 months out of the year. I would rather meet new people and expand my understanding of others as I go, than meet new hotel rooms and expand the separation and isolation of our species that already seems to haunt us.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent many years canvasing cities on the east coast, and often found my way onto the couch of a friendly person/couple/family. Many of these people have become extended family.
Interests
Alternative energy/fuel. Social revolution through applied philosophic and religious ideas. Offering ecofriendly and healthy products into our capitalistic consumer economy to effect change/education.
