ABOUT ME

I'm an agnostic, relatively serious person that enjoys a good party and thats always in for a good discussion. I like to listen to peoples experiences with foreign countries, especially the ones where there were funny altercations with cultural traditions. The fact that I was born in the USA and raised in the Netherlands made me believe that I'm a person with knowledge and understanding of two different western cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I chip in the CS project because I'm a true believer in the fact that you can receive the same amount of hospitality as that you provide. I would like to show people the Netherlands in a different way than a tourist guide would.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went Coachsurfing through Turkey and Syria. Big up for my man Massoud-Al Hassan in Damascus, worry about you and your family every day!

I have had several Coachsurfers in Tilburg. Love to blow their minds with genuine Dutch student activities.

Interests

I'm interested in International Relations between governments, United Nations, travelling to places without knowing where you'll end up and jumping in to adventures with two feet!

Music, Movies, and Books

Huge fan of HBO series like: The Wire, The Sopranos and Entourage. Lately I've been swallowed up by my text books, but like to read thrillers.
I like listening to any genre of music, just not the same for too long, lately been listening to Deadringer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked in the International Refugee field for some time now, having experience with the (horror) stories of some of the refugees and the knowledge of the international asylum Law in the Geneva Convention,the national asylum law of the Netherlands.For the last couple of years I'm all in for broading my broadening my horizon.
