About Me

Hello, Hey, G’day!! My name is Ché and if you haven’t guessed already I’m from the land down under. I am currently roaming around South East Asia in search of local food, cheap beer and authentic human connection.

I’m someone that doesn’t like to plan too far ahead with my travels as I like to think that the best moments come from the most unexpected places. I have a passion for learning and developing new skills, ideas and perspectives. I love coffee, thought provoking conversations and Mary Jane 🤫 (ideally all at once). My fondest memories of each city, town or village that I journey through come from the individuals or communities I interact with and what better way to do it than on Couch Surfers.

I have a natural lust and affinity with the outdoors as I always tend to find myself at the beaches, jungles, rivers or mountains. A few activities I love to get around are Rock Climbing, Trail Running/Hiking, Surfing and Swimming!

Other things I love doing:

- drinking beer (already stated)
- having a boogie…karaoke is also top tier!
- playing cards/chess/board games
- watching/playing sports
- sharing music
- cooking delicioso food
- taking the piss (sorry in advance 😉)

Whilst travelling, My mornings are spent working remotely and the afternoons I’m free to roam and explore!

As I’ve only recently download the app, I am yet to host myself, but will 110% be doing so when I head back home and hope that I can show you why I call Australia home!

Here’s to getting to know each other better 🍻

Cheers,
Che

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to anything that I can sign and dance to, exceptions being classical and country music! My top artists are Jamiroquai, Daft Punk and Tame Impala.

Im always looking for book recommendations! Here’s one for you: The Leopard by Giuseppe Tomali!

My favourite movie is Fight Club, I’m looking for Underground/Indie Film Recommendations

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say sleeping in a cave looking over the beach in Australia after not being able to find accomodation. Watching the stars and listening to the waves crashing against the shore was pretty darn special.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to swim, play Australian Football, riffle shuffle, stack poker chips or speak some Aussie Slang!

Teach me how to communicate in a new language please 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Otherwise I’ll give anything new a crack!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m very happy to contribute to electricity, water food and accomodations…as mentioned above, I’m here for meeting new people!
