About Me

A twenty five year old half Filipino from Scotland who loves seeing the world, discovering new places and meeting new people.
I have a passion for travelling, an ambition for writing, a love for playing music and an intrigue for street art.

The simple moments make me happy. Just give me a park bench in the sun or a towel on the beach and I'm smiling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After living in Tbilisi for almost six months, I'm now flying away to Greece for new surroundings (the beach) and adventures. As much as hostels are second homes to me, this time I want to stay with a local and see their town/city through their eyes.
In all my travels I've never had a couch surfing gig, so I'm really keen and excited to try the experience and hopefully make a good friend!

Interests

When it comes to music I have a particular love for jazz and hip hop, especially when they're fused together. That's my jam. I love playing music too. If I'm in a room with a piano, I'm not going to leave until I've had a go.
I love the outdoors and any activity which takes me there. Camping, hiking, cycling, swimming, surfing, just going for a wander, you name it.
Socialising is a big part of me I also need my own time which I find with a pen to paper, between book pages or with my headphones on.
Favourite books off the top of my head include Street Boys - Lorenzo Carcaterra, Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts and We - Yevgeny Zamyatin and anything by Henry Rider Haggard.

Travelling is my true passion and everything I'm working towards is ultimately just to be able to run around the globe full time.
Favourite country so far? All of them?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bumped into a large friendly sea turtle whilst swimming off the Brazilian coast. It came up to me, gave me a fright, then we swam around each other for a little while, both curious about the other. It was a magical little surprise.
