À propos de moi

ABOUT ME

I'm born and raised in Mexico, although life has given me the great opportunity to experience part of my growth in different countries. Besides Mexico, I have lived in Brazil, Austria, Denmark, and now in Germany. From this, I have developed an on-going curiosity in learning more about the world and the people living in it, as I have found that it is a place full of wonders. Personally I am very active, I keep myself busy most of the time; I have a full-time job, exercise regularly, attend German courses, and travel every now and then, which makes me also treasure those chilling weekends at home just for watching a movie and doing nothing.

Life is short, enjoy hard

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Within my favorite movies you can find from the so-called cult movies to very different others, which I can watch over and over again and never get tired of such as: Donnie-Darko, Fight Club, American History X, Snatch, Inception, Predestination, Limitless, Interview with the Vampire, Warrior, Never Back Down, Inglorious Basterds, Requiem for a Dream, Triple X, Another Earth, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and still many more to watch.

My favorite book might be a little bit cliché, but I don't care. I simply loved the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. Of course I had to read the commented version, otherwise it is impossible to keep track of all the references mentioned in the book. Other books that I have enjoyed are the Name of the Wind, a Wise Man's Fear (still waiting for the third book) by Patrick Rothfuss, Stephen King's IT, Dan Brown's books (Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Inferno), Carlos Ruiz Zafón's books (The Shadow of the Wind, The Angel's Game, The Prisoner of Heaven), many from the Vampire Chronicles from Anne Rice (Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, The Vampire Armand). Currently I am reading Fausto by Goethe, although I have to accept it is giving me a hard time.
