About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To never have to work in my life

ABOUT ME

Well... I believe this is the toughest field one has to fill out.

I am a freelance translator for Serbian and English. This is something that I would like to make my hobby, rather than main activity for making money. Therefore, each day I'm seeking opportunities and ideas since my life goal is to never have to work in my life. This means being able to do things that I like and enjoy doing the most, like writing, painting, traveling and just chilling.

I am a well of ideas, some so ridiculous that someone more daring should put them to trial. I recently (February 2010) set up my own translation company - Belgrade Translations. This idea has been around for many years and comes from the batch of realistic ones. :) Now I'm trying to learn how to manage various problems that come my way... and there are quite many.

Personally, I am a very candid and frank guy, ready to share my smile with everyone. I do get pissed off sometimes, but I hope no one ever sees it.

Traveling and meeting people inspires me. Every new place or person becomes part of me and is constantly haunting me to transfix it into a tangible reality. Therefore, I write. Still haven't published anything independently, but that would be one of my goals.

Another one is to compile a dictionary for the Serbian and English languages. Not that there is not a bunch of those already, but mine would have a different form and be more useful. You see - linguistics inspire me! I speak or understand many languages, but the strongest ones are: Serbian (huhuhuh), English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, Bulgarian... respectively. The last three of those I'm not that good at, especially German. I studied Russian at school for four years but, being so similar to Serbian I never actually learned it well - I spoke Serbian with the Russian accent. Bulgarian, hm... I lived with some Bulgarian guys in USA and spent one summer holiday in Bulgaria. I found out that I could understand pretty much everything and speak a little bit. If you're not certain - speak Serbian with the Bulgarian accent. :D
