About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as possible

ABOUT ME

I graduated from the university of Glasgow in July, and am currently working as a waitress in a small, independant cafe, tutoring French, and making jam. I live in Glasgow which is a fantastic city for live music and local bands. I'm a vegetarian and Glasgow is also a fantastic city for good vegetarian and vegan food. Even vegetarian haggis! My boyfriend, Lewis, is a musician and studied Philosophy at university. He plays in different bands and runs a record label.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a very comfortable couch in the living room, and an airbed. I would also be very happy to show you around Glasgow's West End, the parks, the museums and the university. Lewis and I are always very happy to have the opportunity to show people Glasgow's veggie restaurants.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted couchsurfers from the US and Australia, and have had others to stay. I've also Wwoofed which was amazing, and is similar to couchsurfing.

Interests

We are interested in listening to and playing many different genres of music. We love to travel whether in our own country or city or further afield. I knit andI sometimes attempt to sketch. I especially love to cook and bake and am currently trying to hone my bread skills! Lewis loves synthesisers and other noise makers. He's makes an amazing curry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The furthest we've travelled so far has been India, which was incredible. We have so many memories and had so many amazing experiences. Some of the best were staying in an ashram, the monsoons, driving a rickshaw, seeing Onam and eating a huge amount of delicious food.
