About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much as I can and as far as I can.

ABOUT ME

Traveler, writer, travel writer, adventurer, story teller, future doctor.

PHILOSOPHY

“The world is a book, and those who don't travel only read one page.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I join weekly CS activities in Moscow mostly when I am free. However being a medical student means more studying and less partying. Sometimes I also like to meet foreign CSers when they come to Moscow. I haven't hosted anyone so far because I stay in hostel, but I look forward to hosting someone when I am back to my country.

Interests

While most of the time I enjoy socializing, I also enjoy spending my free time alone. I enjoy walking alone in the park, especially during the fall. Hardcore Arsenal FC fans. Love music - both pop music and classical, can play trombone; Love movies - never miss out a blockbuster on screen, favorite genres are fantasy, thriller, comedy and romance. Love reading - thrillers are my favorite. Addicted to League of Legends, currently in Gold division on EUNE server.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of thriller, fantasy, comedy and romance.
Dan Brown is my favorite author, I have a copy of each of his books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most memorable moment of my traveling history was walking on the street of Moscow in a snowing day, where the temperature hit -30 degree Celsius. I was lost, and was wandering around to look for a bus or cab. My limbs were frozen. The wind was strong and the snow was thick. After half an hour of walk finally I got myself back to my hostel. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, I'm now ready for the next winter!

Another amazing thing that I have done is probably visiting Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. My mum and I joined an organized tour and we stayed in the most mysterious country in the world for 5 days. We were not allowed to wandering around the city without the supervision of the tour guide, and we visited only the pre-determined attractions designated by the NK government. It was a great experience, but they only showed us the beautiful side of the country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Had I not entered medical school I would probably be a writer. I used to write a story in Chinese everyday when I was in high school, but it stopped right after I entered college. Now I am trying to sharpen my English writing skill by publishing my travel stories on Instagram. If you are interested please check it out @cheeeenkhieee3n

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mostly life stories, photos during my trips and interesting stuffs happened during my trips.

If I could grab some essential ingredients from the local stores, maybe I can cook you Chinese dish.
