About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Build an IT empire, while running for hours and snapping some photos
ABOUT ME
A programmer by training and currently building my own little startup, a little bit at a time.
I have become quite interested in running (marathons and all) and would like to do an ultramarathon soon.
I love to learn a bit more about different cultures, freezing time in photos, new languages (but my brain seems to be wired more for computer languages) and a bit of the arts.
PHILOSOPHY
* Do what makes you happy
* Work hard but play hard as well
* Open your mind to new ideas

Music, Movies, and Books
I haven't been much of a reader when younger. But here are some books I've read recently: The Omnivore's Dilemma, Born to Run, A Random Walk Down Wall Street.
I love watching foreign films, art films, anime (Cowboy Beebop, Ghost in the Shell, Miyazaki's stuff, Evangelion), Malaysian films (Talentime, Sepet) and Chinese films especially those set in the Cultural Revolution. I am fine with stuff coming out of Hollywood but they are definitely not the only stuff worth watching.
Some TV shows: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Smallville, X-files (oh ain't that old).
Music that inspire me: Rock, Post Rock, Jazz/Blues, Asian-pop (for keeping to my roots :p), soundtrack for Japanese movies/anime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing trips I had was travelling around the north of China. It was cold but I loved every freezing moment of it. The feeling of eating a steamy hotpot in the midst of a -20 degree Celsius winter is quite an experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make computer do stuff.
I would like to learn a new language.
I am into running, so maybe I can share some things I have learned along the way.
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Estonia, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
China, Malaysia
