I love traveling and experiencing new cultures. Lived in the US and Iran as a child.

I'm pretty open minded about trying new things. One of my favorite things to do is meeting new people and learning their stories.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once. The world is a beautiful place. Meeting and connecting with other human beings is so important to personal and spiritual growth.

**I apologize for not being able to respond properly to some of you recently. Unfortunately I've been receiving so many requests and have not been home so I have no choice but to just to send a quick response.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a great apartment in a an amazing part of NYC. There is so much to do here and I would love sharing this experience with people from around the world.

Couch Surfing has been a great way for me to continue meeting new and interesting friends from around the world when I'm not traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting for a few years now and haven't had a single bad experience. Sometimes you connect more with your guests and sometimes you are able to spend more time in their company, but I am always amazed by the great stories and general positive, ambitious demeanor of my fellow Couch Surfers. Glad that I have been able to contribute in my own way.

We typically try to cook with our hosts. Tell some stories from our travels. If you stay on the weekend we have time to take you out and about.

As far as what to see and where to go, aside from the typical tourist attractions, we can guide you to the places that real New Yorkers enjoy and hopefully give you a more authentic experience.
