Overview
About Me
I'm studying japanese studies in Frankfurt.
Music and the philosophy behind it is one of those things I like most in life. I'm enjoying it in different ways: I play guitar and a bit Pandeiro & Congas, make some music on my laptop, listen to music, go to concerts, love to gather information about artists, albums, songs, myths and other backgrounds and I've even studied it!
Besides music, Japan has become quite a topic for me since seven years now. I went to a Japanese course and a few months later volunteered at a Japanese film festival (Nippon Connection Film Festival in Frankfurt). So I ended up living here.
Another thing I'm quite into is analogue photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to funky tunes or melancholic spheres, so quite a lot of genres. To say it with artists: Neil Young, Baden Powell, Fela Kuti, Tocotronic, Arthur Russell, José Gonzàlez, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Curtis Mayfield, Karate, Erik Satie, Chilly Gonzales, Stephen Malkmus etc.
I also like books from Haruki Murakami or Michael Ende (Momo) and enjoy films like Lost in Translation, Fine Totally Fine, Kakera, Napoleon Dynamite, Big Lebowski, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, No Country for Old Men or films by Jim Jarmusch.
