About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Shake things up

ABOUT ME

I'm a freelance writer who lives a freelance lifestyle. I travel, drink, eat, smoke and keep on going.

If you like sarcasm and dark humor, then you might laugh at a few of my things. If not, then you'll laugh even less.

Time's running out for all of us, I hate wasting it.

PHILOSOPHY

Buckle up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined in Sept '12 so I'm really fresh and new. Going on a cross-country road trip so, for now, I'll be surfing. When I settle down with some sort of abode, I'll host some of you weary travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every person I've met from Couchsurfing has been awesome. Look forward to meeting more of you guys.

Interests

I love to write, read, cook and have a good time. A great day involves traveling, good food and drinks with friends after sunset.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas for the past couple of years, and I probably still will for the foreseeable future. In my poker adventures I've visited Chilean speakeasies, been raided my the Mexican government and experienced high-stakes lime tossing in Uruguay.

I also covered a medical mission in Guyana. I travelled with a group of dentists and doctors to the poorest parts of an already poor country to document their good deeds.

Then I spent six months traveling throughout Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, South Korea and Australia. Great times.

By far the most amazing thing I've experienced has been Burning Man. There are too many reasons to explain here, but if I sleep on your couch I'll fill you in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Guatemala, Guyana, Laos, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, United States
