About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world. To discover new cultures. To taste delicious cuisines and rare ingredients.
ABOUT ME
My main approach is to live life adventurously. I am accepting towards all walks of life. I thrive when I am in new places and with people I've just met. Often I must uproot my life because I need to explore more of what's out there in the world. When I was a young boy, I fell in love with cooking and have ever since devoted my life to perfecting the skills of cooking. I am rather good and knowledgable about the art of cooking and the world of food, but there is always more to learn. Cooking with people I meet on Couchsurfing is one of my favorite things to share, but I am always down for almost any activity together.
PHILOSOPHY
All Life should need is just good people, good food, and good conversation. Being conscious of how to love everyone is just a matter of being conscious that no one is perfect, but everyone has something to share. We all can live in peace, rather than in pieces.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I occasionally hosted band members and occasional solo or couples traveling through my hometown before I began traveling myself. I have done my own version of CS-ing in some ways I guess since I was 15 before it existed. I began backpacking and hitch hiking very young falling in love with travels and cultural exchange. Now, I am traveling the world with my girlfriend enjoying new, wonderful places. I am trying to meet new people and spread the joy of life through experiences I share with the CS community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have backpacked around Europe for many months. I camped through Baja California (Mexico) living on desolate beaches. I hitchhiked across the US for a season (nearly 8000km). I have sold all of my worldly belongings to explore every continent as my way of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
It all varies so much.
BOOKS from Kerouac to HST to Anthony Bourdain.
MUSIC from Charles Bradley to Black Keys to Alt-J.
MOVIES from 'Whiplash' to 'The Beach' to 'Ted'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a volcano. Hitch hiked across America. Drove across Brazil. Danced at a music festival in Iceland with my two best friends dressed as breakfast (I was the bacon) for an entire week. Had sex on top of Machu Pichu. Decided to never settle down and just live a life of adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about modern cuisine and traditional culinary techniques. I can teach about wine making & alcohol distillation principles. I love learning about other's taste for good music. I love learning about anything interesting someone is passionate about. I can share good meals. I can share adventures as a vagabond hitchhiking & "urban camping".
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will cook for you at some point... I've cooked for every person I ever stayed with, even if just breakfast one morning. Either way, I love sharing meals with people and cooking is one of my life passions.
