I want to meet people that understand "all is one" and to make global connections. I love experiencing local cultures and am also looking for a place abroad to at least "semi-retire".

ABOUT ME

I feel I have led a fulfilling life to this point and have had many great experiences which have brought me to this time in my life. With that said, I have my biggest hopes and dreams still ahead and stumbling upon "couchsurfing.com" is helping to shape that future. I only wish I thought of the site! I have many talents and interests that keep life interesting. I only need to remind myself to slow down sometimes and just enjoy today!

PHILOSOPHY

I have really been learning that all is one. If more people really understood that we are all connected by a divine universe and that the only thing we have to fear in life is fear itself, we could all exist in harmony and lift our experience in this life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was a host for some time in Albuquerque until taking a long hiatus. I have recently been in the mood to mix it up some and I am also getting the travel bug sooooo......... I am also in Durango Colorado now and have a really wonderful property that I would like to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have any from this site but I have traveled extensively and made great use of generous hosts in the past (prior to this site). I have family in the Washington DC area, Boston, Spain and New Zealand and Australia. Friends in Virginia Beach, a great host in Germany, my favorite couch though was a dear friend in Croatia!

Interests

I like remodeling houses ( my house right now) and working on the property. I have been learning to trade in the stock market the last couple of years which I hope will afford me a digital nomad type of lifestyle soon. I like to cook when I haven't been cooking for work for a while if you know what I mean. Traveling of course, just being outdoors, hiking, and I just love experiencing local cultures and FOOD!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. I believe the more you can appreciate the more you can appreciate life. I have never been a bookworm and mostly read about trading and global events/economics these days. I have read many self improvement books along the way too. I few of the more fun books I have read would be the Celestine Prophecy,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had great traveling experiences but the only thing that really comes to mind is a few times when I have had the feeling of truly connecting with the universe. All of a sudden all of your questions about life are answered and there is no fear. This was a big time of transformation for me. I am looking forward to another leap!

Teach, Learn, Share

I certainly can teach cooking. I do it every summer. I have a seasonal job now and usually have new staff to work with each summer.

I have been focusing my learning efforts of late on stock/commodities trading. It has been much tougher than I imagined but I still hope to become the digital nomad of trading soon!

I am always learning remodeling, construction, gardening and holistic nutrition.
