About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience life through travel, food, wine, and friends
ABOUT ME
Let's see...I was born and raised in Las Vegas, have lived in Colorado (4 months), LA (5 months), San Fran (4 years), and now in Healdsburg just over a year. I am a chef, working towards my own restaurant someday. I have traveled to many places around the world and the US, I love traveling, and by any means necessary. You can learn a lot about yourself in certain situations.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too short to worry about the future, too much. Just take it one day at a time and see where that day may lead you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just starting on this site, heard about it from friends. I am looking for some places to stay in the future, not sure where yet. As long as I have a couch for someone to surf on, I have no problem with it. GREAT IDEA!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing through this site, just the usual crashing at friends places making a trip.
Interests
Cooking, wine, photography, hiking, anything in the water from swimming and snorkeling etc. Road trips, museums, concerts (preferable free ones in a park). I am pretty laid back, and like to tag for the ride. Plenty out there I have haven't done and would love to do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - wide range of genres. Love indies, foreign, documentaries, action, comedy, stupid humor, dark comedy, fantasy.
Music - grew up listening to a lot of punk, alternative, ska, r&b. Also like blues, jazz, house, trance, dance. Anything that is good, and isn't played on the radio 25 times a day on one station.
Books - I have a huge cookbook collection both for recipes and culinary literature, I'm a chef what do you expect. I would say not much into fiction unless it is sort of fantasy and scifi related, old school Isaac Asimov to Harry Potter. I love reading books that talk about government conspiracies or world politics that are of interest to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working with Habitat for Humanity building a house in Guatemala. Just being able to give back to a community that I am not even a part of, definitely a humbling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would say that the wealth of my knowledge involves food. I have spent most of my life reading cookbooks and learning how to cook. I also have an interest in religions, not saying I can teach, except on the Judaic side, but I love religious conversations, along with political. As long as at the beginning we agree to disagree and can still shake hands after wards.
Currently I am really trying to get back into photography with my old school Canon ae-1, so anyone that can help with that would be great.
