Egyptian with Nubian roots born and living in Alexandria - Egypt; he graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Alexandria University. He has been working in the cultural field for 10 years.

Since 2000, he were engaged in the new media and started working in advertising and photography as well as web design and developing.

One of the major career successes process during his time at university and after graduation, is to work with one of the most famous and popular artists and musicians is in Egypt, Mohamed Mounir. From 2004 until 2012, Shehab Hassan established the project (Mohamed Mounir Fans Official Network), which was a collection of revolutionary creative and interactive ideas that have not previously presented through any artist in the MENA region at this period.

The revolutionary events that took place in Egypt in January 25, 2011 were a turning point in his career both at a personal and practical level. As he says
“I came out to the street, through my participation in the demonstrations and protests; I learned a lot from many situations and people I met with different backgrounds and orientations. Where I realized that art and culture are the ideal way to develop communities”.

In 2012, Shehab started working for ElMadina Foundation for Performing and Digital Arts, he became one of ElMadina team and since then he has been an integral part of the project developing the online image and the branding of the organization as well as developing several workshops and festivals.
In 2014, he became a part of DAWRAK Citizen Exchange Program, which funded by Anna Lindh Foundation. During his residency at Barcelona-Spain, Shehab was working on developing the concept and the websites of the projects (North Africa Cultural Mobility Map - NACMM) and (Tikeya: Nomadic and Research Residency Program), those projects are collaborations with (CeRCCa - Centre for Research and Creativity Casamarles), which is a non-profit organization that has been developing cultural and artistic projects in Spain from 2009.
