Overview
About Me
Pacific Northwest grown, been living in the Northeast most recently, and working on the snowbird lifestyle. Environmental/Experiential Ed in the snow? Been there, and calling it quits on that front for now. Picking up the fiddle more these days and trying out oldtime tunes and the like. I love good books, good people, good chats and good times. I'm low-maintenance--couch surfing to avoid tourist traps & travel/live for cheap. Anywhere with a roof is good livin', and down for adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cheap travel/livin', and meeting new folks. I was theoretically supposed to be living in a bus for a bit, but that fell through as of recent. But nonetheless, the Gulf Coast is calling my name--trying to make my way down that direction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lucky enough to have had some great experiences throughout the years. Hard to name just one that stands out, but a couple standouts in the past few years are leading a 2 week backpacking trip for teenagers on Isle Royale in Lake Superior (Michigan), going skydiving in Moab (Utah), spending a week road tripping through Baja Cali and spontaneously finding folks to take us snorkeling with Whale Sharks, hiking Mt. Washington in the White Mountains (New Hampshire).
What I Can Share with Hosts
All about home-cooking & fermentation. Let me crash, and I'll make you a sourdough starter or help you start some Sauerkraut, Kimchi or firecracker carrots if you'd like! I love to cook, so I'm always down to make a good meal with good folks.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands
