ABOUT ME

We are Michelle (27) and Ruaidhri (29) (Irish spelling of Rory!)from Ireland. We are both from the same little village, Kilmihil,County Clare on the west coast. It's a really beautiful part of the country, quite close to the famous Cliffs of Moher. We both really enjoy travelling and are currently living in Sligo Town. I am studying to be a Home Economics and Biology teacher and Ruaidhri is working as a technician.

PHILOSOPHY

A kind word never hurt anyones' mouth :) I think we both put huge emphasis on living in the moment and being grateful for all that we have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We head about couch surfing while travelling through South America. Since then we have participate in a few events :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing have led us to meet lots of new and interesting people. While travelling it was great meeting up with local people our own age who gave us great hints and tips about the areas we were in. We have also been able to help people with questions about Ireland.

Interessi

Luckily we share a lot of similar interests. Music being a big one, although our tastes do differ a little, and going to live gigs back home. Michelle is into a lot of female artist from Ireland and the UK such as Lisa Hannigan, The Staves and Florence and the Machine. I guess my playlists change a lot but i always go back to the classics like the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
Having studied Environmental Science in university i love out door activities like hiking and sailing.

Musica, film e libri

Watching a comedy with Bill Murray in it and you generally can`t go wrong.
One of our favourite books' is A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson. Fantastic read!

Travelled around Australia together.
Travelled through South and Central America for 10 months. Absolutely fantastic experience!
Swimming with whale sharks in Isla Holbox, Mexico - awe inspiring.
Living island life on Little Corn Island.
