I am originally from upstate New York, but I've lived in many different places including New York City, Venezuela, New Mexico, Miami, and - most recently - France where I am an English language teacher at a local university. I used to work in Film & TV but I'm taking a break from it while in France.

I am horrible with procrastination but I always find a way to get everything done. According to Parkinson's Law, "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion", so I just simply don't allow for more time than absolutely necessary. I'm late a lot, its part of my quirkiness I guess. God bless you people with wonderful time management skills.

I've enjoyed traveling from a young age and I do it as much as I possibly can. I sang with my high school select a cappella group in Austria and the Czech Republic and I was also an exchange student for 10 months in Venezuela.

While guide books and websites like lonely planet and trip advisor are great, they are no match for suggestions straight from the source: a real live local! If my host has time to show me around and hang out, that's awesome, but if not, just a few suggestions of cool restaurants or unique things to do around town will suffice.

Unfortunately because of my current living situation I am unable to host anyone, but I'd love to meet up!
