ABOUT ME

I'm a carefree spirit who loves to travel and explore! Currently I'm back in my hometown of Santa Barbara working for a designer in eco friendly fashion but when I'm not working you'll find me outdoors, at the beach, writing, or participating in yoga and meditations.
I'm a very curious and out-going person. I LOVE meeting new people and learning things about other cultures! I try to travel as much as possible and each experience has been totally unique and completely rewarding.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's wise to keep an open mind as much as possible. To be able to be patient and receive insight and knowledge from others is a very unique thing that many of us are a bit too stubborn for but I try my best each day to work on these things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've been traveling quite a bit then I haven't had the chance to host myself. However, I was able to couch surf a few times in the UK!
I also love to help other people and am up for giving advice on things to see and do either in Santa Barbara or other places I've been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The few times I was hosted were very positive. I was able to meet and interact with some very different and friendly people!

Interests

I love hiking, swimming, riding longboards, and camping! Being outdoors in general and I'll try anything new. I've always participated in the arts (trained in acting and dance for 15 years) and really enjoy a that as a hobby. Living a healthy and active lifestyle is extremely important to me and I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
I'm a horrible cook and will burn every dish but I always enjoy trying!

Music, Movies, and Books

-I'm very much a nerd when it comes to movies as I love nature documentaries and things from National Geographic! -Music is one of those things where I will pretty much love anything if I feel a connection to it.
-I'm fascinated with books on astrology, philosophy, and natural healing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mosquito Bay- Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. Haha, don't let the name scare you away because this is the most beautiful place I've ever been to in my life! It is the brightest bio-luminescent bay in the world. Meaning that the bacteria in the water glows when you touch it or an object moves in it. You go kayaking at night (it is so warm) and just experience one of the most magical things on the planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I practice Vajrayana Buddhism along with other meditations and forms of yoga. For those that are interested I'm always up for sharing a bit about these or having you join in!
