My fiance and I are novice travelers. We've seen only a fraction of the world but we want to see more. We enjoy new experiences and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is not cheap and we like to save money where we can. Why not spend it in good company? Currently, we are moving to Portland, OR from CT and will need somewhere to lay our heads as we transition into our permanent residence.

In 2015, James got the opportunity to go on a 3 month road trip across the United States. He started across the north, moved down the west coast, and looped back up to CT. He got to see so many beautiful parts of our country and had some unforgettable experiences. He loves to share, so please ask!

Teach, Learn, Share

James is an English teacher by trade, but is also passionate about teaching Dungeons and Dragons to those not familiar. It's a story telling game that allows you to be as immersed as you like.
I am an amateur fashion designer, I'm always happy to pass on what I know in either technical or aesthetic respects.
We are both sponges, we are very eager to learn whatever we don't already know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always love to offer a helping hand with any task and I love to cook and bake for others.
James, having worked on a farm for some time, isn't afraid of some manual labor and isn't completely unfamiliar with carpentry.
