About Me

I'm a Returned Peace Corps volunteer who served in Tanzania, E. Africa. I have a desire for travel, public health, and meeting new people as well as an openness to trying new things. I have a love for adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I have an ear for all musical genres. But if there is a genre that I listen to the most, it would be Hip Hop and Alternative lyrics. I'm a fan of comedy, horror, drama, and romance films.

Books? I love to read all varieties of books and authors such as “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell, “What I Know for Sure” by Oprah Winfrey, or “All God’s Children Need Traveling Shoes” by Maya Angelou.

Walked alongside lions! 🦁

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to teach others the importance of getting outside of their comfort zones. To learn new ideas of the world through travel and those who live within the cultures of those we visit.

I hope to learn more about different cultures, their values, as well as new ways to connect with others who share similar yet also different perspectives from my own.

I hope through each interaction and experience, I am able to share my story but not only my story, but also the stories of others whom I’ve encountered as well.
