About Me
Hello!!
I am a second year university student majoring in Environmental Science and Outdoor Education, who is also on the university x-country running and skiing teams, working at the rock wall, an outdoors club exective and a student chaplin! When life doesn't have me busy at school, I like to go out and explore new places, either on my own or with a few close friends.
Life has taken me on some pretty sweet adventures already: I 've traveled all around the world with my family on various vacations, took myself to Australia and New Zealand for a solo trip, and have taken some pretty amazing university courses including dog sledding in the Northwest Territories for 2 weeks! I have some awsome stories from these adventures that I would love to exchange with you for some of your stories!
I love baking/cooking (I originally typed cookies... I like those too), reading, watching movies with friends, crafting, hiking (my all time favourite activity), camping, climbing (really want to get more into it!), canoeing/kayaking on rivers, and just being out enjoying nature as well as sitting in with a nice cup of coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I originally made my couchsurfing account for my gap year when I was traveling around New Zealand and I loved it! Staying with people was a super amazing experience, I met a ton of wonderful individuals and hope to meet many more by being a visitor and also as a host.
This is truely an amazing site, it has served me well in the past and I hope it will serve me well in the future :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most recent amazing thing: bushwhacked through some Canadian mountain ranges for 8 days using only a map and compass and the combine brains of myself and two other people
Fun random thing: I’ve summited a glacier with my cactus, Jerry (in my profile photo we’re just on a mountain). He has now been up two mountains, a glacier, to the Arctic Circle, and across the Alaskan boarder - amazingly, he’s still alive!!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Company for exploring the area, or going on hikes :)
I can also share all my experiences and stories with you!
Along with my time and help in whatever you may need some help with
I am a huge fan of baking as well (provided you supply most of the ingredients), and will happily cook supper for you - just let me know if it’s something you’d like in advance! I usually only travel with food for myself
