I am curious about the world around me and live my life intent on exploring it as much as possible. I believe in slow travel and deep experiences in each culture I explore. I generally live in any city or country for roughly a year and then move onto the next one.

I am a minimalist, very spiritual, and my belief if karma and morality control every decision I make. I am very down to Earth and easy to get along with, however I am very quiet. I definitely have quite a bit of "LGBT" going on, and this combined with perpetual travel and being a criminal defense attorney, has made me open and accepting to basically everyone at this point. I listen, understand, and treat everyone with respect.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I really started to use Couchsurfing as a host when I lived in Svalbard. I did this because I believed the place to be very special, but an extremely expensive destination. I wanted to help people with limited financial means make their dream of exploring the Arctic a little bit easier.

I have actually yet to stay at another persons place, however I do consider doing so only when seeking out cultures or places that I have little knowledge about and want to have a deeper understanding for. In 2019, I will be taking trips to regions of the world I have not explored, and I would like to be a guest with someone who can give me local knowledge and possibly even show me around.

Interesses

I am passionate about international taxation and geopolitics, and the study of this consumes the majority of my time.

Apart from that, I enjoy the little things in life...a good cafe, good food, meeting locals, going for walks around cities, and checking out its architecture.

I am an avid fan of polo and motorsport.

I love cooking for others, and I absolutely love mexican food. I like to offer a night of cooking for hosts. I also think it is the easiest to adapt to any diet/allergy/taste. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, spicy, not spicy, etc. I also find the regional variations fascinating. I lived in New Mexico for 2 years and became thoroughly addicted to mexican food cooking. I like sharing this food with others, especially because in some regions of Europe, mexican food is not very popular.

I also find it relaxing to do dishes for others as a courtesy, a weird quirk. Probably because I hate cleaning so much that I know how much I appreciate it when someone does it for me :P If there are dishes around, you will find they always become magically clean on their own.
