Hi! I’m a Canadian traveller working my way through Europe. I am a biologist who will be starting a dental degree in September but for now I’m enjoying the most of summer! I was born and raised in beautiful British Columbia and love nature! I like to camp, hike, surf, discover new places, learn new languages and are always up to trying new activities. What I offer as guests: good conversation, new stories, info about Canada, and hopefully some laughs!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I like best about traveling is really discovering the local side of a city. The people, the food and all the hidden wonders. I love meeting new people and sharing those new experiences with them and hopefully taking some cool pictures to go on my wall back home in Vancouver.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to keep an open mind so I have favourite movies, books and music in all styles and genres (also always very open to new suggestions). For books I like off the top of my head: Sapiens, Dan Brown books, a thousand splendid suns and currently reading the clan of the cave bears series. For movies and series: black mirror, greys anatomy, friends, dead pool, etc. I can’t even give a genre of music because I like a mix of everything but my current favourite is Ben Howard who I’ll be seeing in concert in September!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try and teach you some English, French or maybe a little German. I can teach you how to make loon calls, how to speed skate (provided we have ice or we can pretend on a slippy floor), and how to make origami swans. I love to share good laughs and stories over beers (especially craft beer). Im up to learning whatever you have to offer!
