I developed a love for travel when studying abroad in Valencia, Spain. I made so many amazing memories that I knew I wanted to see more of the world.

During my time in corporate America, I tried to make it a point to get out of the country every summer with my vacation days. Eventually, I realized I loved traveling too much to have such a limited amount of days to see the world.

So, I recently quit my corporate job, and moved to Sydney, Australia on a WHV. I'm ready to explore this side of the world, meet new people, taste new food, and develop even more amazing experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After traveling to so many countries, and moving 4-5 times within 5 years of living in America, I realized I love to lead a nomadic lifestyle, where I don't have hard roots in one place.

Every time I've gotten an apartment, I leave a year (if not less) later. So when I quit my job to move to Sydney, I knew I did not want to find a long-term apartment lease, as I wanted to hop around and meet new people.

And then I met someone who couch-surfed for a year, and it sounded like the perfect match! So here I am on Couchsurfing, ready to meet new people and live in a bunch of different areas throughout the year :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is definitely rap, but I listen to a ton of different genres: EDM, pop, indie, etc. I like to mix it up depending on my mood!

Movies: Love a good romcom or comedy, also into suspense, but NO scary or horror movies. Love 90's movies, like 10 Things I Hate About You.

Books: I'm kind of a slow reader LOL so I LOVE audiobooks, and anything in the self-improvement, self-help genre. Love learning about The Universe, our egos, breaking old patterns, etc.

Also HUGE fan of podcasts - I probably listen to more pods than music or audiobooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently quit my pretty comfortable job in the US to pursue my own dreams and live my life by design. I know I can live on my own terms and work for myself. It will take dedication and commitment, but I wouldn't have take the leap of faith if I didn't believe I could do it. I find it amazing that I actually DID take that leap, as I had a pretty comfortable life in Florida, including an awesome group of friends and close to family, but in my heart of hearts, I knew I was ready for something bigger than my life there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Can teach you about social media, content marketing, and podcasting. I worked in influencer and content marketing for over 5 years, and have had a podcast for just about 2 years.

Learn: Would LOVE to learn more about cooking, especially for certain nationalities and customs, and a new language! I would LOVE to be bilingual.

Share: Lots of knowledge about what I can teach! It's free to share, and can learn a lot. Also can physically share podcast equipment, books, and any beauty tools I have LOL.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share: Lots of knowledge about what I can teach! It's free to share, and can learn a lot. For example, social media marketing, content marketing, branding, podcasting, photography, etc. My background and expertise is in this field, and I'm happy to share all the info I have :)

Also can physically share podcast equipment, books, and any beauty tools I have LOL (like jade rollers, face tools, etc)

Lastly, I can share my (limited) cooking skills - my mom is from Puerto Rico, so we can always call her up to share some recipes of hers :)
